If you and your partner live overseas I would be more than happy to assist you with arranging your special Wedding here in Australia.

In order to prove identity I will need to see an overseas passport or a birth certificate translated in English. Please note, an Australian passport is not acceptable. If you have been married before you will need the relevant documentation regarding divorce or the death of your partner.

Please bring these papers with you when you arrive, as the wedding can not go ahead without them being sighted by the Celebrant.

You will need a Notice of Intention to Marry which can be obtained from the Australian High Commission, Embassy or the Australian Foreign Affairs Department in your country or I have a link on my contacts page. This form can be faxed or emailed to me. However it must be lodged no later than one day and one month prior to the wedding date.  This form must be lodged no later than one calendar month and one day prior to the wedding.

Before leaving Australia you will be required to obtain a stamped, registered copy of your legal marriage certificate from the registry office.

An Apostle Stamp will be required on your certificate in order to make your marriage legal in your country should you come from an Asian or European country. It is advisable that you check with your own Consulate before leaving the country.

If you feel that I can be of assistance please don't hesitate to contact me.
